Obituary

Henry Allen “Hank” Clouse, 65, of Indianapolis, passed away at home on Thursday, August 3, 2017.

He was born on January 1, 1952 in Indianapolis to the late Everett Franklin and Margaret Evelyn (Sullivan) Clouse. Hank was a 1970 graduate of Franklin Central High School and worked as a Manager for Ace Battery for over 25 years. In 1999 he began working for FedEx Freight, retiring in April of this year. Hank was a 30 year member of the Monument 657 Masonic Lodge, serving as a Past Master and enjoyed spending time at the Beech Grove Moose Lodge.

Hank is survived by his wife of 39 years, Janet L. (Monroe) Clouse; children, Henry A. (Sherry) Clouse Jr., Jason (Brandy) Clouse, Whitney (Jaccob) Gentry; and 6 beautiful granddaughters, Cydney, Brionna, Mackenzie, Kayla, Cassidy and Brooklyn. Hank is also survived by his sisters, Shirley (Jim) Kirkham, Gladys Canada, Barbara Douglas, Nora Scudder; brothers, Tom (Brenda) Clouse, John Clouse, Jim Clouse, Everett “JR” (Sandy) Clouse, Tim (Tammy) Clouse.

He leaves behind a large extended family and will be missed by all who knew him. Hank was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, June Simmons.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 7, 2017 at Flanner and Buchanan – Memorial Park from 4-9pm. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday morning at 10am, also in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society.
